We have 4 vintage Sanyo wall mounted air conditioners with outdoor compressors. Sanyo no longer makes them and one of our remotes is dead. So I bought what was supposed to be a universal remote. That does not work. Did a little research and found this one. It works! It comes with a list of codes that you can enter to pair it with your device. None worked. So I used the search function and after a lot of effort to understand the instructions written by someone who doesn't speak English, he found my wall unit. It was complicated. It didn't indicate what he was looking for like the Pigeon English Guide said. But now it works well and even better than the original. We liked it so much we immediately ordered another one to have when the next old remote fails.
