Review on 🔅 Leviton Quiet Step Rotary Fan Speed Control - RTF01-10Z, 1.5A, Single Pole, White/Ivory/Light Almond by Gavin Ghram

I used this controller in my garage to control 3 metal fans. Not sure if I'm not using it like I'm supposed to or if it's the fans it's attached to, but at MAX it sounds like a helicopter taking off, but at high speeds it's about half as fast. , the average is about a quarter of the speed, and at low speed the blades almost do not rotate. If you turn the fan to minimum, the blades don't even spin. I have to run it at one of the other speeds to get them moving and then switch to low. I think the only speeds I will use will be high and possibly max. I will say it will drive 3 fans without getting hot or buzzing.
