I've tried other stools and I'm sure they work, but I wanted something durable so kids in preschool could wash their hands and help them in the kitchen. I wanted something strong and secure and something that wouldn't take up much space. I had previously bought a cheaper stool and the kids would fall and on impact it would move and cause problems. I spent money on it hoping for something better than others on the market and I'm so glad I did. My kids can use this, 2 at a time, and it works great. This is the most durable stool I have ever seen. I'm so glad I spent the extra money on it. worth your money.
