Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Exlene Wireless Gamecube Controller for Nintendo Switch and PC - Rechargeable, Motion Controls, Rumble, Turbo (Bluetooth Version) by David Crawford

Too many problems. PC overview.

I'm a big fan of Gamecube controllers and when PowerA came out with their wireless controllers I bought them. They worked well on a PC, but the need to change batteries and the C-Stick's custom size were annoying. It seemed like the best option. It's not like this. What I liked about the PowerA controller was that it was Nintendo quality and not a cheap fake. He also updated the controller with a larger D-Pad, gyroscope, joystick clicks, a second shoulder button, launch and select buttons; all the modern controller features you've come to expect in 2020. However, I wasn't a fan of the lack of a built-in battery and the fact that the C-Stick is a ledge and not a proper joystick. All of the PowerA controllers I've tested also have minor stick drift. They never center themselves perfectly. The Exlene has almost the same quality and features and is never a GOOD C-Stick design, but again the D-Pad is small. Why? No idea. It has an extra turbo button, which is nice if that's what you're into. But all of the center face buttons (+, -, Home, Capture, Turbo) are flush with the faceplate of the controller and are very soft. They push terribly. However, I connected it to my computer via Bluetooth and started racing. Everything was fine at first, but I had problems managing my characters in different games. One had the feeling that the joysticks were too sensitive. I went into windows to control the inputs and indeed the stick inputs reach their maximum level MUCH before the physical stick touches the edge of the plastic. That said, if you want any sort of granular movement, good luck because it requires stick movements so small it'll get frustrating. I demonstrated this problem in a video along with the next one, Triggers. The L and R shoulder buttons are soft, with only the occasional click, and the mechanism within them can cause them to become stuck if you hold the button long after releasing it. It does not fit. I am returning mine because of these issues. If all issues were fixed I would love it but they are unforgivable and most frustrating for games. Hopefully one day someone will improve the Gamecube Wireless Controller for PC.
