Review on EVICIV Frameless Portable Monitor - 16", 2560X1600 Resolution, Flicker-Free, Tilt Adjustment, Adjustable Aspect Ratio by Nathan Bories

Here I round up 4.5 stars to five. All in all, this is a surprisingly great monitor. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of workmanship. It felt like I was holding a giant phone. The edges are clean and rounded, there are no sharp edges, everything is smooth and feels premium. The kickstand is stable and you get a wide range of input options. The kit includes various cables for connecting to all types of devices and power sources. I connected the USB-c to USB-c cable to the MBA and the monitor "just worked". Love it! The picture quality is sharp, clear and vibrant! Some caveats though: 1) The product description says 5-point multi-touch. This feature is only available if your device supports it. For example, my Mac doesn't have multi-touch. I could use simple touches to select icons and scroll through menu screens, but I couldn't scroll with two fingers like I did on my Magic Touchpad. If you're a Mac user, don't expect this screen to turn it into a giant iPad. 2) There is no promise in the product description about its inclusion, but I think it's a glaring omission if you don't include a case or cover for the "portable touchscreen device". Due to the long and narrow aspect ratio, this screen doesn't fit in a standard 15-inch laptop bag, so it wasn't a solution for me. I worry about taking this screen anywhere without damaging it. It needs some protection and absolutely none has been included in the device.
