When researching this product I had high hopes that it would be of the same quality as Perler brand beads. I was wrong. I recently melted these beads by pairing them with Perler brand beads as they say you can. It was much more difficult than it should have been. Artkal brand melts much faster than Perler brand beads. I would not recommend these beads to beginners in this hobby. Luckily I'm not new to this hobby and was able to salvage various melt rates. Another thing I noticed while creating my pattern was, that the Artkal brand beads were longer than the Perler brand beads. Not only that, but not all Artkal brand beads were the same size. Furthermore, some of the beads wobbled. Overall, I would recommend the Perler brand over this brand. The main thing is that they have more colors, but in terms of quality Perler beats them.
