Review on 🌑️ Lumastrobe Temperature Warning Light: Enhancing Workplace Safety with Advanced Temperature Alert System by Raji Bentz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The cost of the product compared to the cost of the repair is cheap insurance.

I bought this temperature alarm for a rented apartment. A year ago I was between tenants and the stove wouldn't turn on, and after that all the plumbing froze. Damage included a freeze and a broken water meter (the city charged me $150 for this), shut-off valve, pressure regulator, kitchen faucet, shower faucet, and all plastic plumbing. If there was a bright side, Jack Frost didn't take the water heater (which was electric and not on) to the toilet, washing machine, or bathroom faucet. The company I hired charged $1,500 to replace two frozen faucets, replace all frozen and cracked plastic water pipes with polyethylene pipes, and repair the furnace. I think it was a fair price considering it took two people two days and the house is above a basement. I could do it myself but it would take at least a week. Yes, it seemed a bit sketchy in some reviews, but it still turned out to be the best, and there was absolutely nothing in a regular store. Other reviews mention a button on the side that doesn't seem to do anything. My device arrived with a label stating the button did nothing, along with instructions for use. I put in 2 D batteries, turned the knob on the thermostat and the device started flashing. It's very bright and should draw the attention of neighbors or mine when I drive by. The unit is about 4 inches in diameter on a round base with good cord length to the thermostat. It also has a hanging cord at the top. I would like the manufacturer to develop a flat blink item as not every window sill will accept a 4 inch round item. I'm only giving this product four stars because it hasn't saved me from another $1650 bill yet.

Pros
  • Battery life: 400 hours (flashing)
Cons
  • boring packaging
