I was amazed at how easy the installation was. I was addicted to a Jeep Cherokee many years ago and it was extremely difficult so I expected it to be difficult as well. I installed this hitch on a 2010 Lexus RX350 in less than 2 hours. The receiver is very strong and high quality. The holes line up perfectly with the welded nuts. The hardest part was pulling it up to tighten the bolts, but I used the exhaust to support the right side while I bolted the left side. It doesn't require much mechanical knowledge and I recommend it to everyone. I'm so glad I didn't pay anyone to do this. I would recommend a few things though. I would make sure you have a torque wrench that can handle up to 86 ftlbs before you start. It's very tight and would be very difficult to do with a regular socket wrench. I would also use a 1/2 inch cylindrical metal brush (like a pipe cleaner) to clean the threads and use an anti-seize so you get good torque. I used the box to put on top of it which was nice. If you're arguing about it, then I recommend just trying it.
