My pet is a 45 pound Australian Cattle Dog who has a bad habit of balancing on the console between the seats while I'm driving. I bought this particular seat cover because of the mesh window to give my pet a front view and breathe in the summer. Unfortunately, the lattice window is not preserved. My dog can easily paw at the window to wind it down, but honestly she slides down when getting in and out, leaving an unsafe "hole" between the seats. I have to use safety pins to hold it in place so I wouldn't recommend a window seat cover. If you have a small dog it might be ok.
