Installed my system about 8 months ago. Bulletproof. No false alarms. There is no missed movement. Two sensors are located approximately 40 feet from the receiver. After 8 months I checked the batteries in a sensor. The voltage drop was about 0.160 volts. Impressive. It's easy to connect any type of light/sound as it has DC contacts that can be connected to a relay which can then control whatever you want. UPDATE: It's been almost 2 years since I installed my 2 motion sensors and receivers. One of my concerns when I first bought it was the need to monitor battery health. Well today I took out the batteries and was very impressed! All 8 batteries were between 1.42 and 1.43. Wonderful after 2 years. A few batteries leaked in the base, but this is normal and has nothing to do with the device itself. However, I had problems maintaining the units. In the attached photo you can see that there are 4 small screws holding the device together. It takes a long time to get to the heads of small screws. Well insects have all 4 holes on both devices filled with what they fill the holes with. I had a hell of a time cleaning out holes and removing screws. We ended up using a very small Philips as a drill bit to remove the "x" at the top of the screw head, after using an appropriately sized drill bit for the initial slurry removal. Not to repeat it in the future, I've found that 3mm nylon screws work great as end caps.
