I never got them to work
I bought these to connect my kids Mac books to my TV so they can see a bigger screen at their school at home. They have a special adapter that comes with the MacBook. The Samsung TV worked fine for the first hour, but then the problems started. This would make the TV flicker but never project the laptop screen onto the TV. After several attempts I had to give up.
