Okay but Bungie looks like a design hack

I love this platform and use it to support Apple TV on a Samsung TV. Another mount we tried recently (made by Apple, I think) places the Apple TV out of sight behind the TV (good), but the remote doesn't work very well (bad) in that position. The VIVO platform allows you to mount your Apple TV where it can be seen (doesn't matter) and easily share data with the remote control (good!). When I mounted VIVO on top of the TV, the platform's sticky surfaces seemed perfect in the sense that the included bungie tape might not be needed to hold the Apple TV to the platform. However, when I plugged in the HDMI, power, and Ethernet cables, the weight of the cables on the back of the Apple TV caused it to lift off the surface and tip over (not good). The bungee loop keeps it in place. That might seem like a minor annoyance - I guess I won't notice anytime soon - but as a fan of sleek design, the bungee loop feels like a bit of a hack. I'd rather see a surface sticky enough to offset the weight of the cables, or some sort of clip or grip to hold the Apple TV in place more securely. I understand bungee is a cheap and easy way to hold it. shut down and that other tools may be patented and therefore expensively licensed (or legally protected from). But. bungee? It adjusts easily but doesn't look very good. Still, for $15 it's a good deal and otherwise it's reliable and adaptable. I would buy it again and am considering ditching the bungee in favor of some other means of holding the Apple TV to the surface.
