Review on 🔦 1995-1998 Express C1500 K1500 D1523H Headlight Switch - Upgrade with Headlamp Dimmer (HLS31) by Frank Chinchilla
Doesn't work and has poor build quality.
The switch itself doesn't work very well, if at all. I had to toggle between the two settings to even turn on the dash lights, let alone adjust the brightness. Redefining the dome didn't work. To top it off, the brightness control wheel is very tight and creaks like metal on metal even when it's not working. I ended up sacrificing this part for a shift knob post to replace the broken one with an original part that was already in my truck. Understand, a 20 year old switch works fine (no less than America) but a new switch (made in China) fails miserably, I should have known better.
