I'm 17 years old and ratcheted and punched it down a dirt and gravel track. I rented coil spring compressors from Autozone and bought the $10 fork separately. Those two things made this job a lot easier. Plus, you get your money back on anything you rent, so it's 100% worth it. You cannot beat the value of this spacer. I also installed a new damper. This is because my truck is 2WD. If you drive 4WD you can use a cheap shock absorber extension. Compress the coil springs before removing them for easier installation. Step by step: Raise the truck (use jackstands as you will be moving the truck with the jacks under the wishbone) Remove the wheel. Remove the bolts that secure the brake line to the top of the caliper and upper arm and housing is attached. Remove the pull rod and hit the bottom part up with a hammer. Place a jack under the lower control arm and tighten slightly. Remove the upper arm nut and remove it with a spacer or skid. After removing, raise upper arm as high as possible. Compress the coil spring very hard. Slowly lower the jack. Remove the coil spring and add a spacer.
