Although I bought a new one from Revain the first thing I got was an open box with clues as to what was wrong (sticky sensor) and what support the previous owner spoke to. I sent it back and had to pay another $20 for a replacement because the price went up. I bought this item because my single-axle trailer can vary greatly in the vertical load. For me, knowing it's loaded correctly is worth paying for. However, I know this is a niche product and that adds to the price, but it's just a plunger attached to a gauge and it's not very accurate. I really think it's too expensive.
