; This cable is VERY thick. I wanted something that would be safer under normal conditions and that would seem to help, although I still wouldn't leave the bike for any length of time. It comes with a bike mount which is useless as the cable inevitably sticks out when pedaling and blocks my legs. If I adjust it, it moves again with every bump in the road. However, on my hybrid, it blows well under the handlebars where it's out of the way. The plastic coating ensures that the bike is not damaged.
