Great product but no longer available
This is a great steamer. It is cooked with steam from the steam bath in the base cabinet so that the rice cannot burn and the serving plate is never too hot to touch. The oval shape is large enough to hold whole spears of asparagus and whole carrots. They don't need to be trimmed to fit a round basket. Unfortunately, it looks like Sunbeam will no longer make this model. Unfortunately it was too good to last.
