I live on a 300 acre farm, have cattle and sheep. I used to have a Border Collie who was a great herder and I didn't have to do anything to train her, she just knew what to do. I recently got a Labrador Retriever and thought I might use it for herding and hunting. She is very energetic, stubborn and difficult to train. With so much land to roam, it was everywhere. This collar helped me keep them under control. Now I push a button and she comes running home. The light from the lighthouse is amazing, I used to have to listen for their barks to find them at night. . . Now I can sit on my porch and see where she is (the lighthouse is clearly visible at night). She enjoys chasing ducks in the pond and has worn this collar in the water a number of times and it still works great. It seems very comfortable for my dog and has been a great tool.
