Review on Carson Lightweight Binoculars Surveillance HT 822 by Brandon Guidroz

I bought these to view objects less than 200 yards away and needed 7x or 8x magnification. These work fine for that. Anything over 8x magnification in binoculars will start to wobble too much unless attached to a tree, rock or other solid object. The glass is very good, not outstanding, but more than acceptable for the purpose. The all-rubber body feels well designed and built, and I like its ergonomics. I suspect they will work great in the field. For the reasonable price I paid I'll be buying a few addons for backups and other uses. I have a much more expensive and larger pair of binoculars that I would consider excellent and inferior to binoculars in terms of crystal clarity. Goodbye.
