Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product is working, I will not repeat it for sure.

I "upgraded" to this model from the contentious PRO 17 after the perfect air of 2022, but I don't even know how to tell when the manufacturer will address all the issues so I can securely purchase a 16" laptop of decent quality. You could have to wait for the model ate or perhaps the 2022 batches will be better. It is unfortunate that the producer is putting a high-end product through customer testing and that its marketers have finally outwitted the engineers.

Pros
  • Performance: In terms of comfort, working with raw 42 mpx in C1 is comparable to working with JPEG. There are 13 "2022," and the keyboard is prettier than a butterfly. Screen bezels that are thin look attractive. My device's cooling fans only operated when it was heavily loaded; they did not disturb the surrounding noise. Everyone commented on how good the built-in speakers now sound, which is true. It appears that the keyboard no longer scuffs the display (unlike earlier models), although I haven't had chance to check in the past two weeks.
Cons
  • Even in 2022, the manufacturer's products' quality control does not support the price tag. I came across a copy from the November 2022 batch; a few assembly-related jambs were not important for me, and the screen was not the brightest (the maximum brightness varies by up to 10% from copy to copy), being less bright than on my 13" 2022. However, I was compelled to return the laptop to the vendor (and with some financial loss, as service centers are very likely to refuse to identify such a characteristic of the equipment as a defect or malfunction) by the audible crackling of the coils under load in a quiet room. While watching a video in Chrome at the lowest volume while editing a photo in C1 or a film in iMovie, the laptop generated rustling and crackling noises that were barely audible but distinct and grating. Finding this "effect" to some extent on various 16" devices after searching via forums, especially foreign ones, I discovered that some customers had received devices with the same issue after three returns. I created a video with this "effect" at this address: youtube.
