How do you walk in a sock!
The Escalante 2 was no longer my size and the Escalante 2.5 had no eyelet. So I tried other shoes with terrible results and came back hoping to find my size in something. And jogged in an Escalante Racer. The shoe's very open-knit upper left mixed feelings from some other reviewers, but I love it! It fits just like my other Escalantes but even more comfortably. I like the feeling of walking barefoot and not falling. So for me the perfect shoe. Just remember that these are running shoes, not trail running shoes.
