Review on 🔄 10-Pack 4.5-inch Replacement Disc for Paint and Rust Removal/Stripping by Joe Murphy

We ordered hundreds of dollars worth of these washers while building a 5,000 square foot log home. We sanded every inch of the logs inside and out, as well as stringers and rough-cut railings. You do an excellent job. You'll be surprised how smooth wood can be made - just as good as fine paper. This is the best unit price I've seen for this type of disc and they work MUCH better than flap disc sanders. They usually last about 30-40 minutes, after which the seal wears out. You can go through a lot in that time. I gave it a 4 for longevity just because sometimes we eat a pack a little quicker - don't know why but I suspect it's a quality control issue. Overall I would recommend purchasing as we have bought them time and time again with pretty good results. Note: when we first bought these we found them a bit difficult to tighten on a coffee grinder (we use Milwaukee) because they are so thick. But it can be done, and now it's not a problem. Simply hold the grinding key at a slight angle and turn it down.
