These little sets were of the highest quality. I was deeply impressed. We bought as souvenirs for some kids visiting the zoo to help curb spending there. I hesitated as they were reasonably priced but based my decision on other high reviews. They were NOT DEFECTIVE. These animals amaze with details and extremely hard/soft plastics. They were a great size and weight for kids aged 2-6. The pain did not subside or crack and they were played almost every day for several weeks. We've even bathed them a few times and they've proven to be long lasting. It was a great purchase! I wish they would sell many more of these sets. We will definitely buy others and they will be wonderful gifts for your kids or other people for the holidays.
