(Original) Was not waterproof and had a snapped screw: (Updated: 2-19 & 3-2 & 3-11) LAST UPDATE 6-29-19

LATEST UPDATE DOWN! I am not very happy with these lights. When I opened the box a small screw fell out and it turned out to be the screw holding the lens of one of the lights. I found an empty hole and tried to screw the screw in, but found the hole was almost completely unthreaded. I used screw lock and put the screw back in and it held. The headlights are bright and have a good beam, but both headlights are already filled with fog under both lenses and occasionally have water droplets after driving through puddles or heavy rain. It is not known how long they will last with this flooding. Update 2/19/19: The seller contacted me and offered to replace the lights with a new set for free, which is very valuable and helpful to them. I've increased the star rating to 3 to reflect this and if the new lights hold up better than the first set I will upgrade again and improve them even more. I also added pictures of the lights. The hazier of the two is the one missing the head screw, but both lights have water ingress. Update 3-11-19 The seller finally sent a replacement. I'll install them this weekend. Will update again after about a week of use and a good ride. LAST update 6-29-19 I installed them a few weeks after receiving the 2nd set. Just got back from the Smoky Mountain 500 route which is 40%/60% paved and dirt roads through Northern Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee. The route consists mainly of gravel roads in varying conditions and includes several crossings of streams and small rivers. The light went out again due to flooding. One of the lights turned yellow when turned on, and both water and fog behind the lenses. The few weeks I've used them for dry dirt road riding and regular road use hasn't really been a durability test and the IP68 rating seems to be claimed. This completes 3 days of skiing in the mountains. Not once were the headlights fully submerged or hit in any way during this ride, but both were shot. This is sad as I have a kit of this light design on a Honda ST1300 (sport touring hard bike only) from another seller/manufacturer that I bought four years ago and they still work and look like new. I think this version of this design just doesn't meet the requirements of real adventure riding. My one star rating is permanent now.
