More detailed instructions will help

I make everyday furniture, cabinets, bedsteads and headboards, picture frames and other tools. I'm new to this kind of tools. I've been thinking about a moisture meter for a long time. I don't usually dry the wood myself, but buy lumber or recycle what I have. All my wood is stored indoors as I don't buy in bulk just for the next project. However, there are seasonal fluctuations in humidity that affect the condition of the wood. I bought this gauge to monitor the moisture level of various parts as I prepare to cut and assemble. This meter has both pin and pinless measurements, but the results of the two modes are very different. I believe that a good cross reference of wood species and detailed instructions will help explain the difference, otherwise it is difficult to rely on the results to determine if all parts, such as B. solid wood and sheet metal products, are flat and do not move after assembly. On a more general level, this really shows the difference between fresh wood and wood that has been stored for a while.
