Review on Panasonic KX TGA680S DECT Accessory Handset by Jewel Walker

This extension phone replaces the one I bought 3 years ago with a set of 2 with answering machine. While this secondary phone works with my original main phone/answer, it differs in several ways, one of which is the shape of this phone which comes with its own charging station. The controls are also slightly different as the keypad and features have changed: one thing that startled me was when this handset [which is in my room] started talking. Well it played what the answering machine recorded which I don't want to hear when I'm sleeping. AH HA is the feature selection in the answering machine area called "Screen Call"! Just turn it off with ringtone and BUF off, no more noise. The CID and redial features have been moved around, as have a few other small changes that take some getting used to, but it's not a big deal and I'm just thrilled that it was available and not easy. Piece I had to replace!
