I wish I had used this case when I first got my Series 4. After accidentally bumping my Apple Watch on something, I discovered small cracks on the screen where it meets the metal. A few weeks later the same thing happened to another part of my watch. In both cases I do not remember a strong blow. There was a third time I got out of the car and she touched the door. I had an Apple Watch Series 1 and over the years it has never been cracked or even scratched. For some reason (or maybe I'm just unlucky) my Series 4 seems more prone to damage from light contact. It could be rounded edges. Either way, I needed something to prevent further damage. I tried two different cases that completely cover the screen and wrap around the edges. These covers worked but spoiled the look of the watch. Also, during testing, I found that moisture would seep into the case. It was uncomfortable removing the cover and drying it and the watch. I love the way this bumper cover closes the edges. It perfectly protects the sides of the screen. It is only raised at the edges. When it comes time to replace or upgrade my Apple Watch I will have one of these protectors from the start.
