I purchased a tablet for business tasks - taking notes at meetings / negotiations (and nothing will be lost even after years and can be conveniently sorted, and you can also quickly turn on recording from a voice recorder in 1 click on a note . I use Notability), work with electronic by mail, with documents (moreover, they are included almost in full size). From entertainment - YouTube / movies / TV shows on such a diagonal are simply gorgeous. Sites open in the desktop version, which is understandable - the diagonal is comparable to full-fledged laptops. When buying, I came across a version with LTE (PCT, stale in a small store) at a regular price . Before that, there were other tablets (iPad of various versions up to pro 10.5 / 12.9 (2nd), Samsung tab) - all only wi-fi, Internet distributed from the phone. On the one hand, it is very convenient to get a tablet anywhere with prepared documents from the cloud, without dancing with connecting to networks / distributing from the phone. On the other hand, it seems that autonomy sank because of this. iPad 12.9 (2nd - the last one with a button) lived with me for about 3-4 days, right there - 2 days even with a very moderate load. Of course, automatic synchronization between Apple devices is very pleasing. I took a photo on an iPhone, it is already in the cloud and is available on the iPad in the stock application. I copied the text on the tablet, pasted it on the working mac. etc. Could I do without a tablet? Definitely yes. But this device makes my life a little easier, my work more productive, and my trips/flights less boring. If you feel sorry for the money (which is not surprising with such a large price tag), I recommend taking the 11 inch version, or even the old pro 10.5. ipad pro 12.9 2nd (with thick frames) - just huge, I could not get used to it and sold it. The previous generation (with thin frames) is almost no different (you can safely take it), but also at a price. ipad pro 2022 on m1 is a little more difficult - the main problem is that it costs an order of magnitude more expensive (in my case, 50% more expensive, both versions are from the store), and there are not so many resource-intensive applications.
