This is a very nice blanket. Much thicker than I expected and the fabric is much thinner. It's hard to believe it's less than $40. It's very big. I've attached a photo so you can see it full size on my bed. My bed is 27 inches high and almost floor to ceiling width. I wanted a long one so it's good for me. If you have a platform bed without a box spring, forget it. The color of the sand is much lighter than in your picture. Much more pale brown or like a white sandy beach. The color is nice and neutral, but I would have preferred a darker shade. It's worth the price. I washed it and it turned out great.
