I'm a 61 year old Caucasian, buy this to help with my droopy eyelids. The tape has a very slight yellow tint that actually helps make it invisible on my skin. Your skin may be different. Before that I used another brand that has a slight pink tinge and is more noticeable on me. I've tested them a bit by wearing them at night and they've stayed up well (even though I sleep on my back). However, they do not wear makeup. You can use eyeshadow around them but not on top. It doesn't stick well to the tape and will accentuate the edges and make them more visible. But that applies to all eye patches as far as I know. Their effectiveness depends on how you position them. So plan some practice options until you find the best placement that's right for you.
