Review on Hotwin 058109217B Timing Cam Chain Tensioner Tool for Audi VW 1.8T 2.7 2.7T - Compatible & Effective by Josue Porter

The product works perfectly. No problem. I'm not sure what everyone else did, but it worked great for me. No cracks or breaks, not even bent. I tightened the tensioner with no problems. The only negative I can say about it is that the screw seems a bit long. Works, but it would be easier if it was maybe 1/4 inch shorter. Failure to remove both cams will slightly impede rotation of the tensioner between the cams and chain. It hits the head, but if you're careful and alert you can easily deal with it. Otherwise it worked great on 2 different timing chain tensioners, no problem now. Just take your time, don't over-tighten, and slowly move the tensioner to slowly release the oil pressure.
