We are all affected by the never-ending flood of electronic and electrical devices in the home. The number of these ever-growing items means more and more outlets are needed. And since no one is going to remodel their home so that the walls are full of outlets, extension cord syndrome takes over. A case in point is my space for a few books, lamps, and space to charge my mobile devices and laptop. A fairly large power strip and a small multi-USB charger tangled cords and the very limited space was occupied, but not that pleasing to the eye. I've seen this miniature ball that doubles as multiple power and USB ports. The four edges meant that no matter the size of the power supply/charger, no outlet was wasted. I typically lose about 40% of a power strip's advertised capacity (number of outlets) because even regular plugs have thick sides, making it impossible to plug another plug in next to them. You can connect 3 chargers/smart plugs of ANY size with this ball. And since this is for an electronic device, the 10A limit is more than 5 times what is used... Regarding the USB ports, it should be noted that they correspond to my 4-port charging station. Total 4.8A. And, of course, none of these are fast chargers. In my case, this place is for overnight charging, so it suits my needs. It's nice to be able to hang on the wall, but I'd use it as a nice talking point.
