I'll start by not liking buying clothes on the internet. I'm the type who likes to try things on, so I'm sure they will fit. However, I have been buying Speedo style short swimsuits for many years. For many years I could buy a size 34. Then I had to buy many models in 36 inches for some styles depending on the brand. They always said it was the waist measurement, although most swimsuits of this type don't come down to your real waist. All racing and casual Speedos briefs sit on the hips. It's out of the way, I did it with these low waist shorts from Arena on Revain. I decided to try them out and see if I like them. I have never seen this particular style since I never bought the arena. 90% of the swimwear I own is Speedo with a few other brands. I bought my first pair of this style, the low waisted Arena, but they were only a size 34 with the print I wanted, so I decided to try them on anyway. . Although a little tight, I really like the cut. I hope, as the previous reviewer mentioned, that they will stretch over time. I finally found the same pattern with a different print that I liked in a size 36. They fit a lot better. I find that depending on the size of the ID tag, they work somewhat at the smaller size. The 36" size is still a bit tighter than I wanted but they are ok. As for the material, 100% polyester which I have never bought before, I really like the material and the way they feel I hope they last as long as a lot of my other swimwear. The quality of the product seems good. Only time will tell how long they will last. Price wise I think they are average compared to the purchase price of a lot of my swimwear, which have cost up to $60. The retail price in the arena is $46. Knowing this, I would never pay more for this suit. If you find your size, consider yourself lucky, and chances are, you will the price is below the suggested retail price yes I would buy again but for this brand this arena this particular style low waist I would try a size 38 though now for the cons I like this brand and style really, but I obviously fell for the tail of this style when I was told they no longer make them. Yes, if they kept making them I would buy more of these low waisted Arena styles. In all the years that I have bought short swimsuits, one thing has remained the same: there is no consistency in the fit. Hence my fear of buying online and not being able to try it on first.
