I had 3 of these. The cats love it. Unlike other scratching post products, your cat will have it anywhere within minutes. Of course, this is minimal compared to most scratching posts, but the value you get from cat entertainment expenses makes this a great investment. Cats like to be high up and near the window. And they will play king of the pole until their little cat hearts are satisfied. All of these photos were taken within 5 minutes of completion. It is very easy to assemble and takes less than 10 minutes if you can keep your cats away from it for that long. It only looks nice under the year if you have crazy hyperactive cats like mine. But I blame my cats, not the product. I actually bought a backup to replace the cylinders as they are crushed to look nice and like furniture. Again, I would rather buy these than new sofas every year. I can't stress this enough.
