If you want to filter even the smallest particles out of your tea, this is ideal for you. When we make Thai tea at home we first use a fine mesh metal strainer and then when the tea has cooled we strain it through that bad boy before serving. This eliminated the slight graininess sometimes found in improperly strained tea. The only downside we've found is that if you can strain something like Thai tea (which has artificial colors added anyway) the white can discolor slightly, but that's not a problem for us. I can only recommend this filter because of its good quality and its low price.
