Ideal for Thai iced tea!

This tea towel filter is very suitable for the preparation of Thai iced tea. He catches everything and nothing goes in the tee. It also rinses off easily.

  • Even old people can understand

Perfect for preparing Thai tea!

I bought this to make thai tea in a pot and it's great. The tea turns it orange, but that's to be expected. I save all tea leaves after use and let them air dry. I love it!

Makes the tea concentrated

I liked how thick the sock was BUT it was NOT bothersome. I had to wear gloves and hand strain the tea. He made even the weakest tea too strong. Eight cups of water/tea reduced to six.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white

For coarse grains, not for pots

I see complaints that the soil is leaking and not suitable for pots. First, this type of product is designed for a thicker base. Use a fine coffee filter, you will not need this product. Second, I would recommend using this over a jar/glass. I make it into a cold drink and Thai tea, and the ground coffee is coarse so it doesn't spill. Since I also use it for those two drinks, I keep the filter over the tall glasses because I end up putting them in the fridge. This works fine for my intent.

Get those tiny particles out of your tea!

If you want to filter even the smallest particles out of your tea, this is ideal for you. When we make Thai tea at home we first use a fine mesh metal strainer and then when the tea has cooled we strain it through that bad boy before serving. This eliminated the slight graininess sometimes found in improperly strained tea. The only downside we've found is that if you can strain something like Thai tea (which has artificial colors added anyway) the white can discolor slightly, but that's not a…
