I use an iPad like a mini-laptop with a lot of writing taking place so having a keyboard is a must for me. I also seem to find myself writing at night on a regular basis so I was also searching for something with a good backlight. This keyboard/folio setup is really making me happy right now! A word of caution, sometimes if you are running another bluetooth device (especially wireless earbuds) the keyboard can suddenly start getting super-slow and laggy. I actually think this is an iOS issue, not the keyboard, because the instant I re-boot my iPad the issue is gone.Cons:Adds a lot of bulk/weight (doesn’t matter to me, still way lighter than any laptop)Bluetooth can get "confused/laggy” when used in tandem with some other Bluetooth devices (especially wireless earbuds)Charges with a Micro-USB port (not an Apple Lightning port) so you have to keep another cable around)Pros:Pairs up fastGood keyboard feel and very nice layout for touch-typingExcellent backlighting optionsBattery runs a LONG time on a charge
