My wife irons shirts before going to work around 10am. She needed a small ironing board that could be easily set up, placed over our long double sink and hung from a full size ironing board in our master bathroom - this item fits up to a 'T'! Lightweight, can be used with or without extended legs, and has a wipeable top covering a hard plastic panel that allows heat to filter through the surface of the panel. I chose it for its length, width and rubberized legs on two foldable legs. The surface was difficult to iron, and even with the feet closed, the rubber feet prevent the board from moving during use. Wife loves it and finds it easy to use. I specifically didn't want a chipboard ironing board because of warping issues with other earlier "mini boards" when using steam.
