I bought the GLO 2 because I sometimes use the satellite signal with my iPhone and other GPS systems on airplanes and while driving in California canyons lose. The advantage of GLO is the use of Russian GLONASS satellites in addition to US GPS, which doubles the satellite coverage. The device connected to bluetooth quickly on all the devices I tried. It picks up satellites in minutes if not seconds, very well, even in my pocket. But I couldn't get the device to send the location to an iPad or iPhone. The packaging was written for iPad, iPhone. After hours of surfing the web, forums, and using Garmin's phone/email support, I finally got it back. It may have been the only device that failed. I'm just sharing my experience.
