Bought because of the reviews, all of which were (10) 5 stars at the time. I thought it must be great. I got a good price, she also had 1 day shipping. It's made cheaper than others I've looked at. Everything but the telescopic pole is plastic. I use it in the office so it will most likely last a long time because I won't be crashing and restoring settings. The phone/tablet attaches with screws while others have spring loaded clips. This only slightly complicates the installation of the device and takes more time. The Bluetooth remote paired easily with my phone and worked well for taking pictures or turning videos on and off, and it came with an extra battery. Supposedly 2 year warranty. You'll need to register to activate it, and when you do, they'll request a 5-star review in exchange for a $15 gift card. I obviously didn't buy it because I don't want people to think it's better than it actually is, so I did. According to their website, it's a Chinese company and who knows if you'll be able to claim the warranty. Just pay attention to reviews as this is NOT a 5 STAR product in terms of quality but if the price is low enough and you use it lightly as a tripod it will work and is good value for money. I gave it 3 stars because the quality was cheaper than expected and because they pay for reviews. I know a lot of companies do the same for their products, but I think people should be able to rely on accurate reviews, and if you're only paying for 5-star reviews, it goes without saying that you can't trust reviews as impartially .
