I use this to work with horses. I was afraid the louder timers and beeps would startle them, and I didn't need a device that kept alarming until I turn it off. It's perfect. You can choose a simple short beep, a loud beep, a vibration, or a combination of both. It's great that I can just give a quick beep and vibrate so I can hear it, but it doesn't startle the horses or require my hands to turn off the sound. Easy to program and the perfect little timer that doesn't just alarm.
