I am pleasantly surprised with this purchase. We have a puppy who thinks the bed is the bathroom and I'm tired of washing our comforter twice a week. I put off buying because the reviews seem to say it makes the comforter so uncomfortable/unbreathable/hot that you don't have to worry. I did not encounter these problems at all. I unzipped the bottom about an inch and that lets the air out so there isn't a ballooning effect with air inside. The only small problem is that it is slippery as the interior is waterproof. The blanket wants to snuggle into him. Just make sure the corners are secured really well and the problem is solved. Small ribbons are sewn into the corners of the cover. Tie them to your quilt's loops (double knot or they'll unravel. Found this the hard way) or pin if your quilt doesn't have loops. If you read bad reviews and put off buying, just ignore them. This is a really good product and saves you from the hassle of washing your duvet!
