Review on McGard 64012 Chrome Bulge Cone Seat Lug Nuts (M12 x 1.5) - 4-Piece Set: Secure & Stylish Wheel Fastening Solution by Larry Lackings

The ring nuts supplied with the vehicle are lug nuts covered with a thinner metal cap. Unfortunately, the tire shop rounded the trim cap so the jack handle would not remove the nut. Luckily my flat tire was in the driveway so I was able to hammer the jack handle onto the stock nut and remove it. Good thing I wasn't standing on the side of the road in the rain. Strong steel nuts are required to replace original nuts. These are solid. My Escape now needs a 3/4" socket to remove it. The jack handle size is different and doesn't fit. Looks nice. Hopefully the chrome will hold up. Expecting it here in Florida.
