Theoretically it works, but there are two problems
This product works but it's not perfect. I took six soft avocados and put them in. No matter what I did each day, there was a little brown layer on top, but all those avocados lasted 10 days! That in itself is pretty amazing as my avocados will never last that long if they are soft. The real issue for me is durability. I used this once, put it in the dishwasher and it kinda cracked as you can see in the attached picture. For this reason I am returning this item. My next try is to buy frozen avocado slices from Costco. If I don't like thawed guacamole, I try a different version of this device.
