Review on Advanced Starfiber StarMop Wet/Dry Microfiber Cleaning Kit by Michelle Lopez

I have three kids, a puppy, a hallway and a large white marble kitchen floor and all I can say is I love this mop/broom. Puppy: As you can imagine, Puppy has had her fair share of accidents. When she does, I blot up the excess liquid with paper towels, but then I take an eco-friendly pet stain remover, spray it on the accident site, and pull out my StarMop mop. I hit the base of the mop with the pad of the mop. The Velcro strips hold the carpet well and firmly. I never had a pad when installing it on the mop base. Then I quickly wipe the area. Don't use a disposable cleaning pad and then throw it in the trash, don't pull out the rope mop and bucket, don't splash water everywhere, etc. I just throw the mopping pad in the laundry. Did! Or if I need to re-prepare the pad and don't want to wait for the wash. I just put some soap and hot water on the pad and hand wash, wring it out and hang it to dry by the sewn loop. :) Now for cleaning all the floor from what the kids and pup are dragging on their feet outside: I fill a spray bottle with warm water and mild detergent. I spray on the floor and wipe the floor with a mop. Thanks to the large size of the mop head, cleaning my kitchen takes a lot less time and effort than with a traditional fiber bucket mop or even a sponge mop. And like I said, no need to move a bucket full of soapy water and splatters etc after just wiping the floor with my spray gun :). remove detergent residue. The floor is clean and dries faster because there is not much excess water and soap on the floor. I really like that I don't have to throw away gallons of dirty water! Microfiber Sweeping Pad: I like this as a broom. Good size microfiber pad. Not too big that it doesn't fit under chairs and bar stools, but big enough that you can quickly clear a large area. I use a dry microfiber pad to sweep, then remove the pad from the base, take it to the back porch and just shake it out. It's amazing how much dust, dirt, pet hair and crumbs fly when I shake out the microfiber pad. After shaking, you can proceed to the next cleaning. Once a week I throw it in the laundry and clean it thoroughly. If you have a large hard surface, pets and/or children, do yourself a favor and get this mop/broom!
