I bought my Hummer H3 in 2014 when I bought it I was wondering why the light only comes on a few times. Until recently I found out that it was in these door jambs, 4 out of 5 door jambs didn't work for me. So I ordered 5 and replaced all 5 doors. Now all the door jambs work, the lights come on when the doors open, and I also have "doors" on my dash when it's open. It was great that it was working again. Also fixed an issue where my radio and wipers would stay on even after removing the key. You will need a Torx T15 screwdriver to swap them out.
