It can be assumed that the trigger-activated piston device will fail. Usually the problem is with the outer o-ring. Replacement parts don't seem to be available and since the inflation gun is cheap I consider it a disposable device. I am a home user with 28 tires that need to stay inflated - cars, trucks, trailers, tractors, hand trucks etc. The gun usually starts to lose air after about a year of use. The accuracy of your pressure gauge is not exact, so plan on using a good pressure gauge with it. The inflatable gun will only bring you closer. I typically use an inflation gun to inflate to about 5psi and then use a tire gauge to deflate to the correct pressure. The clamp on the valve stem cartridge is also prone to leaking and usually requires one hand to hold it against the tire while inflating. This problem is easily solved by cutting off the cheap cartridge that came with this pistol and replacing it with a quality solid brass cartridge, also available here at Revain. The brass tip can be moved from a discarded weapon to a new one.
