Bought a lot of magnets (see photo). If this isn't the strongest magnet in this price range (under $25), then something new has hit the market in the past month. Ten magnets against eight or fewer of the other guys. I'm sure most manufacturers use the same quality magnets, the bigger the stronger.2. I think placing the magnets closer together (2 rows of 5) versus more "scatter" might help, but that's just a theory. See photo.3. I highly recommend. IMPORTANT TIP: I put a very strong mounting tape over the adhesive that is on the magnet and metal plates. The stronger the magnet, the more likely it is that the standard adhesive strip will fail. You can see I used the mounting tape on the Wiz Gear's magnet when attaching it to the tripod mount.
