Exactly what you have to call airstrikes!

Ok seriously - arrived and plugged straight into a 2m Kenwood TH-K20 transceiver which I use as my HT remote on the ham bands. The connector fitted perfectly and the signaling messages were robust to the local repeater. I haven't had a chance to listen to it myself, but if others can hear me on the air, that's quite sufficient. The speaker output volume seems a bit low as you have to turn up the volume on the radio to hear it unless it reaches your ear, but I think that's the price you pay for the 'military' look " of your cell phone amateur radio setup. As others have said, there's no tactile CLICK when speaking, but you can feel the switch on the bottom so you know when the mic is hot. All in all, it's well worth the money to have a molle clip-on earphone conveniently and conveniently in your backpack instead of taking the radio out of the carrier and holding it to your face to talk. Now to trigger some fire missions.
