Review on Schwinn Replacement Bike Inner Tube 700c x 35-42mm: Traditional and Self-Sealing, Black by Travis Filippi

Bought several of these tubes to replace 2 Schwinn bikes. The original lamps lasted a few years. With the first tube, the self-sealing mass in the valve had hardened after 1 week and I could neither get air in nor out of the tube. I had to puncture it to get it off the bike as I had no idea how much pressure it was. The second tube failed about 2 weeks later (the other wheel) for no apparent reason. My conclusion is that the quality of these tubes is very poor, if only one failed I would write it off as an accident, but did 2 fail that quickly? NO! I will never buy Schwinn pipes again, especially self-sealing ones.
